Are Scientific Inventions making us Happier?

This question has been on the hot list of debate topics dating decades back. It is the same even today, which must be obvious in an era of innovative technology. I personally  believe all are in favour of technology. Who can think of a day without computers mobile phones internet, social media TV etc etc..... From a tech-guy who enjoys witnessing new technology and its advances to a housewife who are literally miles away from recent trends  love science, not academically,  which eases her efforts in cooking, washing, and in all her daily chores. Scientific inventions undoubtedly have made our lives easier. ......

             Now these human-mades are just like the human himself with godliness and evil contained within.. This evil part we go on destroying and updates the godly part when a worthier evil gets attached and this never ending fight goes on.

             Environmentalist had argued for centuries against technology that destroys earth eventually and the rest of the world must have been tired of answering " Can you live without these so called technology.....We must approve of a bigger cause rather than beholding it for a much smaller cause". The nature of curiosity in man is what in question. Man has certain inherent imperfections in himself , which technology exploits making a promise of perfection and easing life. The evil side which takes its own errands to finally give a heavy face, is forgiven by the naive to its merits.

             This evil part I was talking about, whether it is actually evil ,depends on who answers it. To a businessman , this may actually be a jackpot. The viruses that spread through internet, once possessed serious threat to the internet users, extracting personal data, hijacking, stealing passwords etc etc.....The business mind here comes up with a firewall getting a good price in exchange. Next day, taking the business to next level, he creates a virus that can breach the current firewall and then build a stronger firewall on the following day for a higher price at the same time increasing his credibility against rivals with the same motive. This cat and mouse game goes on. Isn't it a jackpot!! Since we have solution at a nominal rate the drawbacks are easily forgiven. All benefit from technology, depending on where they dwell on! On the godly part or the evil part, by buying or selling!!
